The Costa Blanca is situated on the south east coast of mainland Spain and is renowned for it's sandy white beaches and warm Mediterranean climate.

Steeped in history and boasting beautiful mountain views, sweet fragrance orange groves and glistening waters, this picturesque Valencian province has something for everyone.

Cabo Roig is a small town in the area of Orihuela Costa area of the Costa Blanca situated just 5 miles south of Torrevieja. Cabo Roig is blessed with one of the most agreeable climates in Europe  due to the effect of the local large salt lakes by Torrevieja and the sheltering mountain range to the West. The area is identified by the World Health Council as one of the healthiest places in the world thanks to its dry climate especially beneficial for conditions such as rheumatism, arthritis and asthma. The average 320 days sunshine each year and an average temperature in the 20’s make it an ideal summer or winter holiday location. Hot summers and warm dry winters mean you can enjoy sun all year around. With daily coastal temperatures in the spring and autumn months rarely dropping below a very acceptable 16 or 20 degrees centigrade, one can swim comfortably in the sea well into November.

It has a very multi-cultural feel as many people from other countries now live in this area. Cabo Roig is a stunning cape jutting out into the Mediterranean Sea. With a relaxed atmosphere, two sun-drenched white beaches, a recently refurbished marina and spectacular scenery, Cabo Roig offers a great alternative to some of the more bustling resorts in Costa del Sol. There are many secluded coves where you can catch the sun with very little company, even in the high season.
Cabo Roig Marina
At the picturesque marina there are excellent restaurants and bars near the historic watchtower. There are a huge variety of bars and restaurants in the area, particularly on Cabo Roig strip along the main coast road, the N-332, offering a wide range of cuisines including Spanish, Italian, French, Mexican, Chinese, Indian, Greek, Hungarian and of course English. Also, in the town there are banks, post office, medical centre, pharmacy, supermarkets, gift shops, ceramics, car hire, bike hire, and many other facilities.

It has an excellent road network and two international airports close by.  It is on the main bus and taxi route and is easily accessible from both Alicante and Murcia airports, Murcia (San Javier) being the closest taking around 15 minutes by car.
